Experiences At The Hatchet Resort

Exploring Yellowstone Country with the whole family, or the entire motor coach, is a seamless expedition from the Hatchet. Get a head start on the other Park visitors by starting an hour closer to the Park! Few other lodging options are as conveniently poised for access to the top two regional destinations – Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks.

With plenty of room to roam, the kids will enjoy the outdoor spaces with playground, meadow and teepee while adults can share in the educational aspect of the property and newly renovated interiors. The Resort also welcomes families who bring their pets on vacation.

Arrange your activities directly from the Hatchet and take advantage of our later dinner hours for when you get home. Be sure to spend some time checking out the area right around the Hatchet too. Morning views of Mount Moran will go great with your first cup of coffee before you head out to explore the area. The adjacent Bridger-Teton National Forest is also accessible right from the resort.

Great Resort & Restaurant!

Great basic breakfast at the resort diner, and located along the way from Togwotee Ranch into Teton National Park. Very reasonable prices and a good value. The hash browns were the best I've had in a long time--crisp and flavorful. Ample table space for social distancing, and friendly staff.

Online Booking Was Easy!

We booked online, called to confirm, and got upgraded to a suite. Room is super clean and nice. Log cabin feel. We grabbed a huckleberry margarita and dinner to go from the bar/restaurant. Would defn recommend! Josh at the desk was super friendly and helpful!

Healthy Protocols For Your Family & Ours!

Contact free check-in is available by calling 307.543.2413 two hours prior to your arrival on property. Please have your credit card available via phone.

‍

Our remote location is secluded and away from crowds, while still close to both Grand Teton National and Yellowstone National Parks. We’ve been practicing physical distancing since 1954.

‍

Each room will be fully sanitized between each stay with hospital grade disinfectant on all solid surfaces, in restrooms, and all door handles, remote controls, light switches and frequently touched surfaces.

‍

Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the property for use by guests and employees.

‍

All linens will be professionally laundered between each stay with CDC approved, hospital grade chlorine bleach and detergent. To limit exposure of additional staff in your room please note that rooms will be fully cleaned after every third (3rd) night. Extra amenities or towels will be available by going to the front desk for pick up prior to 10p any evening.

‍

Our team will be serving you on 7 1/2 acres of dedicated land giving each room over .2 acres of available physical distancing. Each employee will be screened daily for covid-19 symptoms or fever and will be required to self-isolate if they experience any covid-19 symptoms.

‍

For your protection, our employees will be wearing all necessary protective gear at all times while at work on the property.

‍

Physical distancing will be observed in both restaurants as well as outdoor dining areas. Expect a heartfelt smile and perhaps a greeting that seems more like a holler because we’re staying 6-10’ away from you.

Room service will be available from 5pm till 9pm each evening for a small fee.

‍

Sorry, however the health protocols mandated that we remove our Keurig coffee makers from all rooms. We will have coffee or tea or hot chocolate (dine in as well as take out) from the restaurant each morning. We appreciate your understanding.
